 Next workshop: “The Health of Tea” | January 25th | 7-9pm | $20

Learn about the many health benefits in different types of teas, botanicals, and tisanes.  During the class, participants will have tea tastings, food tastings, and receive 20% off loose leaf tea purchases.  Tea classes are a fun and interesting way to celebrate a mid-week evening.

Tea of the Month 25%off

During January, people tend to think more about their diet and health.  To promote good health, our tea of the month selection is Organic Yerba Maté. 

Yerba Mate is related to the holly plant and is one of the most nutritionally dense plants in the world.  It contains many polyphenols, antioxidants, nutrients and amino acids.  It is known to be a healthy energizing alternative to coffee.  It also can act as a hunger suppressant, which is great when you’re on the go.

Artists Proposals:

Chaibaba is sending out an artist proposal call to have new work displayed in-store for the months of February to April, 2012.  Work needs to suit the tea house vibes, as well as being framed/matted or on canvas/board.  Deadline is Jan.28th.

Currently we are show casing Marion Krahn’s beautiful paintings and photos.  If you haven’t taken a look, come in to the tea house to view them before they’re gone!
